Teenage Pregnancy A Serious Issue

One of the most serious issues which America faces today is Teen Pregnancy. The young girls are not aware of the fact that it’s dangerous to the baby and to them as well. Statistics about teen pregnancy is quite alarming. About 5, 60,000 young girls give birth each year and these girls neither do they complete their high school nor do they get married. Teen pregnancy interferes with their hormonal changes in their body and this in turn affects the physical and mental health of the teenager. There is an adverse effect to the baby as well. This includes poor cognitive development, immature organ systems, mental retardation etc.
